.mrc file for your ILS.The LIS Software Lab at the Department of Library and Information Science, University of North Bengal, builds and hosts open software for teaching and research in librarianship. Its tools let learners work directly with the systems and standards they will meet in practice — Dewey and LCSH, MARC 21 and Dublin Core, RDF and knowledge graphs, Koha, DSpace and Omeka.
The lab also supports doctoral research, including work on faceted classification and institutional repository design (the Ranganathan–OAIS Integrated Framework), and develops software for university administration.
